Project Hunger

Project Hunger is a service that provides meals to homeless and financially needy people. A crew of people from Northridge is signed up to serve on April 22. Meet down at the Salvation Army building on 3rd and Eddy at 4:00 PM. The food we prepare is already there, we just prepare it, serve it, and cleanup. The best part of serving in this manner is not the work itself, although it is gratifying. The best part is when the serving line is empty and there are a few minutes to go talk to the people that came to eat. They have fascinating, sometimes tragic, stories to tell. We get to listen and share Christ with them, show them His love. What an awesome privilege it is!

Ministry Team Meeting

The next meeting for Ministry Leaders is Sunday, April 15, at 5PM. This meeting will also include all those who participated in the Natural Church Deveolopment Survey in January. We'll be looking at the results of the survey and what we need to do with the information.

Easter Sunday

Sunday, April 8. Come at 8AM for a "Resurrection Celebration" followed by a fellowship breakfast and then a family Easter Service. Instead of having children's church on Easter Sunday, children will stay with their families in the morning church service.

Good Friday

Project Hunger serves from 5 to 6:15. If you are interested in helping out on Friday, April 6, please contact the church office. Project Hunger is a community service that provides free meals to those in need at the Salvation Army building at 3rd and Eddy in Grand Island.

Palm Sunday

365-On Worship Concert

A worship experience geared for 18-30 year olds, but not limited to that age group. Our church van leaves at 5:30 for the drive over to Stromsburg Living Word Church. The group 365-On is made up of 5 18-30 year olds who love the Lord and have a consuming desire to please Him. Two of the band members are siblings of our own Hannah Randell, and Hannah's parents Mike and Mary Ulfers are the pastors of Living Word Church.

The evening is 1.5 hours of great music and a message that will challenge you to consider who God is and where He is in your life. Is He everything to you, or just something?

Fine Arts Festival

March 30 and 31 at Christ's Place in Lincoln, NE. Youth from 6th grade to 12th will be participating in many events including, but not limited to, visual arts, graphic design, vocal and instrumental music, and many more. BGMC Fellowship Lunch

The Well

Come to The Well, a gathering of believers for praise, worship and communion. Ben Shafer will be our guest worship leader, and accompanying him will be members of our worship team. 6:00 - 7:30PM

Worship Team Meeing

We will be meeting at 5PM for 90 minutes to review the schedule, talk about the future of the worship team and just have a good time together. If you cannot make this meeting, please call the church office.

Sight and Sound Team Meeting

Be at the church at 4PM for an hour of training, explaining, and brainstorming. If you are already on the team or would like to be, be at this meeting.

Wednesday, March 14, Family Skate Night

Real Youth Movie Night

Movie starts at 6:30PM and lasts until 9PM. Come as early as you can and stay as late as you want. We'll have free popcorn for you and all the regular cafe food will be available. Come, relax, watch a great show, go home and remember how cool it was to be at RealYouth!
